Boba milk tea is a fun way to drink tea. It’s also super easy to make at home.

This recipe is for only milk tea. If you want to add boba to your drink, check out these boba pearls and follow the instructions to make them. We like to add brown sugar and let the boba pearls soak for 25 minutes prior to serving.

Best Boba Milk Tea Recipe
You can make your own milk tea at home and save lots of money. Here is a recipe I learned while working in a very popular boba shop during college and it only requires 4 simple ingredients!

Instructions
- Brew the tea per instructions on the package and set aside for 2-3 minutes.
- In a shaker, add the condensed milk and tea.
- Use a stirring spoon to dissolve the condensed milk into the tea.
- Add half and half
- Add ice cubes
- Shake vigorously for 30 seconds
- Pour into a glass, add boba/pudding/jelly (optional), and enjoy!
Notes
If you don't have condensed mlik, you can also use simple syrup. We like condensed milk because of its creamy texture. Add as little or more condensed milk based on how sweet you want it to taste.
Adding other toppings is optional. You can also drink milk tea hot or cold.
