Lemon Celery Tuna Pasta

Ingredients
- Your Pasta Noodles of Choice (4 servings)
- 1 Lemon (juiced)
- Celery Flowers (chopped)
- 1 Cup of Cherry Tomatoes (sliced in half)
- 1/2 Onion (diced)
- 3/4 Cup of White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc)
- 1 Can of Tuna
- 2 Tablespoons of Butter
- 2-3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
- 1 Teaspoon of Italian Seasoning
- Salt and Pepper to Taste
- Parmesan (to garnish)
- Pepper Flakes (to garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the pasta per package instructions. Drain water and set aside.
- Slice the cherry tomatoes in half, dice the onions, chop the celery flowers,
- In a large pan add the olive oil and set to medium heat.
- Add and cook the onions until they are translucent.
- Add the butter, white wine, and Italian seasoning. Saute for about 3-4 minutes to cook the wine off. Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the tuna, celery flowers, and cherry tomatoes. Stir into the wine sauce for about 1-2 minutes.
- Add lemon juice and cooked pasta to your pan and stir for 1 minute.
- Turn off the heat and let it sit for 1-2 minutes to absorb the wine sauce.
- Plate your pasta and garnish with parmesan and pepper/chili flakes. (optional)
Notes
We like to use linguine or spaghetti noodles in this recipe. Feel free to use any pasta that you love.
We like our pasta tangy. Feel free to use less lemon if you want it to be more savory.
