Abercrombie & Fitch has had their fair share of negative press for not being inclusive, sexist, ageist and the list goes on.

Fast forward many years later, Abercrombie & Fitch has become more inclusive (now offering plus sizing), mature styles, and a more sustainable manufacturing process. Yay to NO more skinny jeans and distressed t-shirts.

Abercrombie’s Emerson collection is a fashion girly’s dream come true. Its empire silhouette and flattering puff sleeves are perfect for many bodies and the dress comes in many lengths, fabrics, colorways, and prints.

It’s an AMAZING Selkie puff dress dupe for a fraction of the cost. The fabric is exactly like the fabric used in Selkie’s cottage puff dresses, minus the organza layering.

And there are so many more print, color, and length options!

Fits true to size (TTS) – I typically wear a size 6-8 in women’s apparel and wear a size Medium in the Emerson style. It will slightly stretch over time. The back of the dress has stretchy ruching.
Comes in many patterns and colorways. There are new color and print releases of the Emerson dress each season.
Affordable – The Emerson dresses will run you between $80 and $120 depending on length and material.
Great resale value. I have cycled thorugh so many prints. The dress usually sells so fast when I put it on resale boards.
Timeless silhouettes – The silhouette is made for all-season wear. I can layer it and it will look amazing.
Machine washable – We love that you can easily throw this into the washing machine and hang dry it. We recommend using pant hangers with clips to preserve the elastic in the puff sleeves.
