Who is Schimiggy?
Hi, I’m Alex – the writer, photographer, and content creator behind Schimiggy Reviews. I am based in Seattle, Washington, and have been lucky to travel to 42 countries!
As a full-time blogger, I run my blog while also doing freelance writing, marketing, and photography on the side.
While a majority of my content is about fashion, photography, food, and travel, I also discuss some pretty personal topics here such as growing up in foster care, embracing my gray hair, and sharing my keloid scar treatment journey.
What does Schimiggy even mean?
Simply put, I came up with the word Schimiggy in high school with hopes of it turning into the new trendy cool word that was synonymous with “dank,” “dope,” “tight,” etc.
Unfortunately, it didn’t catch on (I know, I was just too ahead of my time) so I became Schimiggy. My full name is Alexandra Tran, and I will respond to both Alex and Schimiggy.
