Boody Review: Activewear Leggings

I received the Blended High-Waisted Full Leggings ($72) and Racerback Active Tank ($37) top to review in this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own and 100% honest.

How do Boody leggings fit?

Boody runs small compared to US brands. We recommend referring to their size chart to find your perfect fit.

We opted for a medium after reviewing their size chart for leggings. I wear a size 6 in lululemon, which is equivalent to a US size small. The medium fit perfectly!

And if you’re in between sizes, we recommend sizing up in Boody.

What is the inseam of Boody leggings?

The pants are ankle length, but you can find Boody leggings in short, crop, full, and active length.

The Active Blended leggings have both an inseam and outseam.

What is the rise on Boody leggings?

The leggings have a high-rise fit. The front rise measures 9.5″ and back measures 10.5″.

How tall is the waistband on Boody leggings?

The tall waistband measures 5″ so it may be a very high fit for certain people. I am 5’5″ so it sits 2.5″ above my navel. If you’re shorter, then it may hit your rib cage and the fit may be uncomfortable.

There is also a top waistband seam that allows for a stay-put fit.

Boody Fabric Details and Features

• Fabric Content: 61% bamboo viscose, 27% organic cotton, 12% spandex blend. Sustainably made and is certified organic by OCIA (The Organic Crop Improvement Association). See their other certifications here.
• Fabric Feel: The fabric feels brushed and stretchy, similar to lululemon luon fabric. The leggings have a matte look and heavy yet sturdy feel.

  • Excellent shape retention. Fabric will not loosen or stretch out.
  • Fabric does not pill. Happy to report that my Boody leggings do not pill!

• Fabric Features:
  • Gray logo on the left hip side of the waistband.
  • Inner waistband pocket that opens at the top. Located above the left hip.

What are Boody leggings designed for?

The blended Booty leggings are made for both working out and wearing casually. We even wear them as airplane and snowboarding pants. The top waistband seam allows for a stay put fit.

The Boody bottoms are constructed with flat fell seams for a chafe-free, body-forming fit. The leggings do have an outer seam.

Where are Boody leggings made?

Bamboo fibers are responsibly harvested from forests in the Sichuan Province of China. Boody’s original bamboo is organically-grown and is used to create our signature soft and durable fabric.

The leggings are also manufactured in China.

What are the care instructions for Boody leggings?

We machine wash cold and hang to dry on a foldable drying rack such as this one. The pants are easy to care for in the wash. You can even tumble dry them on low.

Should I Buy Boody Leggings?
