About KURU

KURU is a men’s and women’s footwear brand that claims they are “the most comfortable shoe” in the market.

In 2008, Bret Rasmussen, Founder and CEO at KURU, created the footwear brand he’s been dreaming of since 5th grade.

He incorporated a patented heel and arch support design (called KURUSOLE) in all his footwear, including sandals.

Many of their styles are also unisex and made to last a long time.

I reviewed the following styles to review in this post:

BREEZE – Sandals with crossing straps. Comes in various colorways and is very lightweight and comfortable.
CODA Mesa – Sandals with thick leather straps sitting across the foot. The sandals are chunky and provide a lot of arch support. We’re a fan of these! Also comes in black.
ROAM – Pleather sneakers that I’ve owned for years. And they still look new! The shoe is very durable and looks great with many outfits.

Built-in arch support – The KURUSOLE technology offers arch support in their footwear. I have high arches and this allows me to walk all day long in their footwear without pain.
Built-in heel support – The KURUSOLE technology allows your heel to be super stabilized.
Very well-made shoes! The quality of their shoes is phenomenal. They’re very sturdy and made to last a long time.
True to Size (TTS) – We recommend going with your true street size in KURU Footwear. I am generally a size 7 in women’s and 7 in all KURU footwear.
Great traction and nonslip qualities. Their soles have texture and ridges that are great for traction.
Affordable – Their shoes are affordable considering the quality and support you’ll receive.
Timeless footwear styles – Their designs are timeless! Some styles are made for all seasons.
Offers many colorways! Most of their styles offer 2-3 colorways.
