About Naot
Naot is a men’s and women’s accessory brand based out of Isreal. They are passionate about creating a better world by making people feel comfortable.
In 1942, members of a small collective farming community in Israel’s Hula Valley began making shoes on Kibbutz Naot Mordechai. Years later, their shoes would be worn around the world!
For over 80 years, Naot has been creating shoes that are beautiful yet comfortable.
The word “Naot” translates to the word oasis, which refers to the relief one feels when wearing their shoes.

- Handmade – Each pair of Naot shoes are handmade.
- Sustainably Made -Naot uses sustainable materials and ethically source their leather to produce each shoe they sell.
- Molded soles for added comfort. The sole of the shoe is made from natural cork and latex and is then molded so that your foot stays put and with arch support.
- Lightweight – The EVA sole (light plastic material) makes the shoe lightweight and flexible. The material also acts as a shock absorber.
- Styles are offered in different colors and prints.
- Very comfortable construction. The shoes are lined with suede lining so it feels brushed yet soft. I did not have to “break” the shoes in.
- A member of the American Podiatric Medical Association
- Charitable efforts – Every year Naot donates approximately 15,000 pairs of shoes and sandals to local charities, with the hope that this little addition to these people’s lives will bring joy and happiness one step at a time.

Naot Cons
- Expensive – A pair of Naot sandals will run you $100+ a pair.
- Little arch support. The arch support is very subtle but can definitely be felt (and appreciated) if your arches are not too high. My arches are very high so I do not feel the arch support.
