Okaysou sent me their AirMax10L air purifier to review. With work from home (WFH) and quarantine orders in full force, we needed a way to ventilate our small space in Seattle, Wash.
An air purifier allows us to keep our indoor space clean. It filters dust, dander, pollen and smoke to keep our air fresh and circulated.
We recently used it after doing some construction on the home. The air purifier combined with our robot vacuum, allowed us to clean up easily and quickly. And if you work from home, you’ll know how dust and debris quickly accumulate around the home.

Okaysou Review: AirMax10L Air Purifier
We use our air purifier to keep dust and other particles from polluting our indoor air.
Here are my pros and cons for the AirMax10L model.
Pros
- Compact – The tower is tall and fits in all the nooks and crannies of our small apartment. It reaches 1000 Sq Ft of living space which is perfect for our living and dining room.
- Timer settings – Set your air purifier to run for specific time periods throughout the day.
- Lightweight – At only 14.57 pounds, you can easily move the air purifier from room to room.
- Quiet – The air purifier is surprisingly quiet. It’s quieter than my MacBook Air laptop.
- Filter change indicator lets you know when it’s time to change the air filter.
- 5-year warranty. Okaysou stands by their product 5 years post the purchase date.
Cons
- Short Cord – I attempted to use my fan in the patio but the cord was too short! I bought an extension cord (comes with USB ports) so that the fan would reach across the room.
- Lacks Bluetooth and home integration. We would love to be able to control our air purifier from an app or set a daily timer. We find ourselves using the air purifier on a daily basis.
- Requires replaceable filters. While we LOVE reusable filters, the Okaysou purifier requires air filter replacements.
Should I Buy the AirMax10L?
The AirMax10L works really well! We definitely feel the effects of the purifier in our 890 Sq Ft unit. It’s also lightweight and has a timer and fan speeds to keep fresh air flowing through the apartment.
It’s super lightweight and easy to carry from room to room.
At only $179, it’s worth it if your family suffers from allergies or if your living space gets dusty very easily.
