I had an awesome opportunity to hang out with some amazing friends we made while living in Seattle, WA. They invited us on a day-long excursion to Taylor Shellfish Farms and Bellingham, WA. I had not explored either area before so was extremely excited to hang out with friends and try new things. I created a photoblog of my adventure. Hope you enjoy my adventure!

Temporary homes for the shellfish….before they get in my belly!

Beautiful boat docked behind the farm.

Tried some grilled oysters. Their cocktail + garlic sauce created a pleasant cioppino-like handheld oyster soup.

Shigoku Oyster shucked by yours truly.

Virginica Oyster – the shell is just amazing. I love the variety of life living on the shell.

Our dining table for the day. Bon appetit!

Made to order soft serve at Fairhaven Fish & Chips in Bellingham, WA. Black cherry FTW! We all scream for ice cream. Ok…maybe I was the only one screaming.

Do you agree?

Old repurposed buildings filled with small quirky businesses.

Beer sampler from Aslan Brewing in Bellingham, WA. Favorites were the Disco Lemonade blended with drop of raspberry jam and the Blueprint IPA.

Catching the sunset over at Clark’s Point in Bellingham, WA.

Some namaste to complete my day!

Train tracks next to Clark’s Point.
Our lovely friends Naomi & Gilbert.

Ending our day with some carne asada fries from Raliberto’s in Everett, WA.
Thank you Naomi & Gilbert for inviting us on this adventure! We can’t wait to hang out with you again!
